Escaping the Frame
Some paintings are what they are and remain a painting. But sometimes, as a (un)natural phenomenon, they come to life. This can occur when the energy is extremely high and it creates some kind of a black hole. This is created so that all of the strongest colours can burst out. Luckily we found a way to regulate the energy flow from beyond. Therefor you can safely enjoy the canvas of your liking, without being dragged into the vortex. Except, of course if you want to escape reality.
Description
Rick & Veerle’s collaboration is called Origin of Joy. This title hints at the desire of the artists: conveying positive energy. The goal of their art is to bring a smile to people’s face and give more colour to their lives. By sowing the seeds of positivism the world will slowly but surely start to look more beautiful. This is the core philosophy behind the Origin of Joy.
